Highland Fling Products is run by Sid and Anna Emms. They started their own business 28 years ago in Scotland. Sid is a master butcher by trade so therefore he is the one who manufactures all the small goods such as haggis, mealy puddings, slice etc. While Anna and daughter Gail take a backseat in the bakery producing quality pies and pastries, tattie scones, and clootie dumpling. It's always been a family run business as all of their five children have at some time helped in the shop. They emigrated to Australia in April 1982 and opened their first Aussie business at Woodridge, 'the Scotmans Deli" from their they went to Sunnybank under the name of highland fling, then Springwood for five year and have now been at Loganholme in much bigger premises for seven years. They have expanded recently and have no intentions of moving any more. They have a great staff of six who help produce and sell their products.
